Swansea University bring more technology to Destiny Village

Last year Swansea University helped pioneer a waste to power community cooker in the village.  Freetown City Council want them across the city.  In the last couple of weeks, Engineering Masters students have been developing a timber seasoning plant and looking at a system to turn chicken poo in to fertiliser.   One student is also helping analyse Human Resource policy and approach.

We are so thankful for their enthusiasm and practical help that makes a real difference.

The Deputy Minister of works and infrastructure came to see.  He also shared in the insights gained from visiting our pilot village and a relocation solution that is already impacting so many lives.
