Seasons

Hiya all who read my blog,

Seasons….. This Christmas season has been a difficult one for me. I’ve tried my hardest to maintain the Christmas spirit…… But it has been a season of goodbyes. Or should I say au revoir’s?!

As the time for me to depart to Sierra Leone approaches I realise how many people are dear to me and how much I will miss them. That said, there is always the Internet and fandangled things like Skype…… I’ll have to learn how to use them I guess!

On a more positive note, a new season is dawning for my life. A season of hello’s, of new beginnings and friendships. With the grace of God we can develop communities and friendships that will endure the test of time and really make a difference to people’s lives.

I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and have had chance to celebrate with your loved ones. Have a happy New Year.

God bless, Ian

So its now Monday night, 11th January 2015, and I’m guessing you are somewhere in the airspace over Sierra Leone. Wot an adventure! Hold on to the fact that you are in the safest place possible – exactly where God has called you to be. Hold on to the fact that your friends here are rooting for you. We’re eager to get the next installment. Remember Abram, who set out for a new country, and keep in good heart, buddy.
