Old schools to new schools

28th December 2016 | Posted in Latest News, Nigel's Blog

Two local schools, Silsoe Lower and Stopsley High School, are moving to new premises in the new year.  Home Leone has been given permission to strip the old schools and send doors, toilets, electrics, plumbing and consumables in containers. This will help the Education of those moving to Destiny village and who are currently living in Sierra Leone’s horrendous slums.

Effectively we are turning old schools that would go to landfill, into new dynamic schools that will change a nation.

If you are free, please do join us up to January 6th as we need volunteers to take things apart and load the container.

If you can help us with a gift to ship the container that will help such children we would be so grateful –  https://mydonate.bt.com/events/containercollection/383131

Thank you to so many helping this far. BBC Look East will feature us either today or on 3 January so look out for it!
