What a joy it was as Bob and I met up with Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr, who has recently taken office as the new Mayor of Freetown. What an inspiring lady with a passion for God and a passion to mobilise Freetown and address the many poverty challenges faced by so many people.
It was great to see her vision. Ironically her powerpoint was virtually the same as mine in a number of respects. We look forward to helping her deliver progress to overcome many of the slum challenges of Freetown. She was also very encouraged by our work and vision.
