One of the results of Ebola is that some corporate clients cannot understandably sanction their staff going to Sierra Leone at this time. I have therefor gone to Cambodia to meet up with a number of people to set up a CSR project for the Birmingham based IM group.
Its a long way to go for a week but the impact a team can make, even in a short space of time is profound. I was moved and inspired by those I have met and the result will be a significant boost to a village who underwent forced evictions form their slum 5 years ago and have done a remarkable job of community development since that time.
