Rachel, Bob (one of our trustees) and I met with Sierra Leone’s Vice President and Head of the Office for National Security to discuss urban regeneration and our first pilot village currently under construction.
It was such an encouraging time to meet someone with a heart for the poorest in his nation. He expressed his thanks to us, and all of you who support us on the journey for this wonderful initiative.
The next step is for us to provide a revised strategic summary alongside our relocation strategy (of 122 pages!) and he will then he will go with us to institutional funders and the President to see what we can do to move the plans foward.
