Off to church and quite an event. Moses Sesay, who works with us to understand how best to develop our communities is also a pastor of the Good News Church in Freetown. Moses turn 50 last week and his church had quite a celebration. I was asked to say a few words and honour him in his role and passion to help some the poorest in the country.
We joined the celebrations which culminated in the church giving Moses a car! The sacrifice of finances needed to achieve this is truly astonishing and testimony to the high regard and love for him the people find.
We then went to the beach. Sierra Leone has some great beaches and the sunsets are wonderful.
