We have had a wonderful team join us for a week in Sierra Leone.  They helped in Electrics, mechanics, planting, painting and building and we are truly grateful.  One participant wrote in his feedback that the time with us had completely changed his life and he is considering coming for a longer time. Thank you to each one who came….

It was wonderful last week to hear from the UK’s Prime Minister, Theresa May as she wrote to Home Leone to connect us within the British government and civil service. This is so encouraging as we get support from government figures in Sierra Leone, all recognising that the Home Leone slum solution is on to something.

Apparently this week hosted World Habitat Day.  As I think around the different habitats people live in it is truly shocking that so many live in places like this and with relatively small resources could live in places like the homes we are building (below). Its perhaps time to switch resources to housing as all the education, jobs, healthcare, water…
