Greetings From Freetown day 2
Friday was a little difficult. We were able to get about 200kilos through then got the other end and we were missing 4 bags, as were a lot of other people, some with no bags at all!. So after filling out the forms we left in the Land rover only to break down 2 miles down the road, so we had to get a taxi to the ferry and hand ball half our luggage on the ferry and off the other end into another taxi. This also broke down 2 miles into the Journey (now getting late), so we took out all the luggage again and got in another taxi to a warm welcome from Kathrine and the team at home.

Sat was all unpacking, adapting the bed into a sort of 4 poster for the mozzy net and make some shelves, also a catch up and deploy the guys for Land rover retrieval.

Sunday was a Sweet time at Lighthouse Church with Mr James (local construction help). Then popped to the beach for a dip and some Shrimp.

Great day of rest today and finished with evening prayers With the house Staff. To top it off we just got a phone call to confirm the rest of the baggage (heaviest items) will be delivered to an office in Freetown tomorrow Lunch time. In hindsight it was all mercy as breaking down twice with 200+ kilos would have been a cheesy problem indeed.

Tomorrow we go forward .

All our love in Christ

Joe and Sarah
