Well, I have cut a few trees down in my life (Being a qualified tree surgeon) but I have never seen it done like this before. The Lads from our neighbouring village offered to remove them as they are in the way of our compound that I am building. I need lots of floor space to get blocks beaten by the local community, which I can then use to make the compound walls and fences with. essentially they dig and chop there way though the bottom of the tree with absolutely no idea where it will fall. However, its effective. Dangerous, but effective!!
