What an extraordinary day! Our passion to enable thousands to exit slums in a sustainable manner was given real encouragement today as Sierra Leone’s Vice President visited our work. Thanks to our great team who shared the vision and progress with him.
Victor Bockarie responded with great enthusiasm as he understood when you put the 6 elements of low cost housing, business, health, education, power and water we not only have the chance to enable people afresh start, but can literally change thousands of lives, and perhaps a nation, for good.
He has invited us to meet further to see how he can support the vision. 2.5 years into this work, it is a real honour that those in authority are joining those who live in slums and our people, in seeing what is possible as we go from the Dream to Destiny.
