In writing the Home Leone story, 1 November 2018 is a key date. The first residents formally took up their leases and moved in to Homes. We have learned so much on the journey as we re-examine our family recruitment and selection approach to provide opportunities for families leaving the slums to take up new opportunities. Sanpha noted the families deep joy, moving in to a house for the “rest of their lives,” an opportunity they never thought could come their way.
