What a great week its been with Mona, Annu and Reeta from One Kind Act with us. This amazing group have supported us in so many ways by fundraising for Bilu Villas (8 homes). Their time with us enabled them to see the full breath of our work and meet many of those who have and will benefit from a vision to see thousands exit slum living.
Kroo Bay (Slum) leaders made us so welcome explaining some of the challenges of living in such a touch environment. We visited partners I have been working with for years such as St George Foundation and the Hastings Polio Association. They also rolled their sleeves up and helped paint the bakery which we expect to open in the new year.
