We were delighted to welcome the Alhaji Kanja Sesay and Dr Eldred Tunde Taylor, the Minister and Deputy Minister of Energy to our village. Joined by their team they were amazed at what they saw and we noted how determined they were to help and support us. We had a wonderful time as residents shared their experience as they toured Destiny Village.
We are working on a World Bank bid to bring power to our area and the Ministry have helped with providing costings to bring it the 8km from the nearest transformer point.
