On Friday 5 June, we obtained keys to our first charity shop in Luton. The culmination of much hard work and planning of our staff. Heather Baker has joined us as our shop manager and we are now putting all the fixtures together and there is a literal mountain of stock to sort.
Our House group came to help last night with about 30 of us putting up flat pack furniture painting and cleaning. Cantnt thank them enough as we made such progress. Come and join us today in Chapel Street, Luton if you have time, especially if you have carpentry skills!
The shop objective is to raise funds and awareness for the cause and also to bless those who walk through its door and those who give of their time to help some of the worlds poorest.
