We were thrilled that Luton MP Gavin Shuker, who is also a shadow minister in overseas development kindly took time from his busy schedule to officially open the first Home Leone charity shop in Luton. Gavin said “This problem [of social housing in Sierra Leone] is too important for us to ignore and I am thrilled to see a grassroots organisation from Luton, seek to make such a vital global impact.”
We are so grateful To Heather, our manager and Saf, our assistant manager who together with Rachel and our volunteers set up a wonderful opening and are working to see it become a success.
