World Hope provided our village with a wonderful Clinic in a Can. This is a container with an outstanding consulting room housed inside.
This week Home Leone hosted its first visiting dentist as Rebecca from York worked through the growing queues of people who had never visited a dentist in their life. With only 2 government dentists for 7 million people, there is an urgent need to offer oral healthcare in Sierra Leone. Rebecca averaged over 60 extractions a day. This was a first step in what we hope will be a series of people bringing health delivery where an intervention can be done without hospital facilities.
