Walking around the new school buildings in Destiny Village gives a real buzz. BuildAid from Norway has just agreed to fund an administration building alongside the first 4 classrooms they wonderfully sponsored. Meal a Day and CRY have both provided classrooms, and we have asked and also seek others to help us get more of the facilities in place. We are so grateful for all this help, facilities which support our goals and as Nelson Mandela said: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
The last week was a also a step closer as our team from the UK included Mike and John of Hope Church, Luton. This was their third visit and connected the electricity to the school area and wired the first buildings, with local electricians learning alongside. This practical help makes such a difference as it is difficult to find enough skilled people with these important trades.
If you would like a week or more with us, individually, with your company or church, then do get in touch.
