Today is a significant. It is the first anniversary since Dave Hall set off on his amazing run from John O’Groats to Lands End and raised over £100,000 to help people out of Sierra Leone’s truly dreadful slums. It was a damp and tense day – nearly 1,000 miles lay ahead, how would he feel, would he stay fit as questions went through his mind. Well he set out and day by day the ground was eaten and with the help of many wonderful hosts, helpers, family and friends. Today we celebrate that achievement. Sierra Leone is a challenging place but Home Leone now owns land on which to build the homes. Once the rainy season is complete, the plans are drawn we step each day closer to the goal Dave ran to achieve. Thank you for your love and support.
