What an encouraging day. Ole Stenbakk of BuildAid in Sweden has been with us in Destiny Village for a few days. We have been talking for a while but when he came and saw first hand what we are doing, he and his trustees agreed to build the first 4 classrooms.
We had laid out the are in the first part the village and Mark Eddison of MEB Design Architects in London and done the drawings. We immediately put some of our staff to work as they started to cut out the foundations so Ole can lay the foundation stone next week.
This is a major step forward as Education is a key part of our plan to relocate those living in slums with such limited access to learning.
