Yesterday, fire visited Susan’s Bay slum, as it did Fort Street before Christmas and again hundreds of the worlds poorest are rendered homeless. We understand that 3 children are missing, thought to have perished in the fire. The need for Home Leone’s slum solution is brought again in to sharp focus as the vulnerable live on the edge of such life and death events.
We have a solution and we have hosted many of the nations leaders. We urgently call on the Sierra Leone government to get behind our pilot project at Destiny Village which will move the first 2,000 such vulnerable people.
