Well, we got Polka our trusty lorry to the Port of Tilbury. She’s ready to be loaded over Christmas and I expect her to arrive in Freetown on or around the 17th of January.
It was pretty uneventful until Adrian and I got caught behind a serious road traffic accident on the M25…. From where I’m writing this blog. Adrian flys today, and we are now worried if he’ll catch his flight!! However, we were probably 60seconds away from being involved in it ourselves so I thank god for that.
It was sad to see Polka go, however I’m excited to greet her in Sierra Leone. I’ll be sadder to see my friend Adrian go too…… I could do with him out there….. We’d get a lot built! However, he has his life to lead, and I know our paths will meet again. I just hope we can get him home.
I pray the people involved in this accident aren’t too seriously injured. Not good! God bless them.
